Team Facilitation & Coaching

Move faster, decide better, stop burning energy on friction.

Smart, ambitious leadership teams underperform for predictable reasons. Unclear priorities. Decisions that take too long. Communication that works in good conditions but breaks down under pressure. Energy spent managing internal friction rather than building the business.

Sometimes the team needs to solve a specific problem fast. Sometimes the team itself is the problem. Either way, that's what we work on.

Facilitation

You have a problem to solve, a decision to make, or a direction to clarify. I work with you to design a session around it — a strategy day, an offsite, a working session — and you come out the other side with something real.

I design and run sessions that get to the real issues quickly, generate useful output, and leave the team in a better position than when they started. Half-day to two days. Standalone or part of a broader engagement.

This is where most of the work I do with teams happens. A concentrated session, a specific outcome, and a team that leaves clearer and more aligned than they arrived.

What's possible

A Series A startup needed to make a significant strategic pivot. In a strategy facilitation session with the exec team, we clarified the shift from enterprise to direct premium model and from partnership to direct sales. The team left with a clear direction and the conviction to move on it.

A Series B scaleup exec team needed to make a similar shift — from self-service to enterprise premium. A series of short strategy facilitation sessions over a few weeks got them there.

A Series A startup had three founders pulling in different directions. I ran a facilitation session that aligned them on a single direction and clarified the shift from operational delivery to a tech-powered model.

A Series A CEO had a complex, sprawling vision that his team couldn't quite grasp or get behind. We worked together to distil it into something simple, clear, and compelling — a direction the whole team could understand and buy into.

A multinational media business needed to shift from an undifferentiated traditional content strategy to a consumer-oriented, expert-led model. We facilitated the strategic shift with the exec team and rolled it out to the wider organisation in the same engagement.

Team Coaching

For leadership teams where the issue isn't a specific problem to solve but the way the team works together. Unclear roles, competing agendas, trust that isn't quite there — the kind of thing that slows everything down and nobody talks about directly.

This is longer-term work, typically run alongside individual coaching for the CEO or a senior leader. We work on the dynamics, habits, and patterns that determine how the team actually performs day to day.

Three co-founders and their exec team were functioning as two separate groups rather than one. Over time, we broke down the inner team dynamic and built a single, cohesive leadership team.

Who I work with

Leadership teams in Series A–C scaleups, typically at moments of transition: rapid growth, leadership changes, strategy pivots, or a period where the team's collective performance isn't matching individual capability.

My Background
